Our policies

What we ask of every client, in one place, before you book.

Booking and deposits

Wax and brow visits hold with a booking. Lash sets, fills, lifts and brow lamination hold with a deposit that goes toward your service, and the menu marks each one with a Deposit to book chip. You book on the booking page and we confirm by text or email.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit. A deposit moves with you when you do. With less notice we keep it. If you're running late, we hold your time for 15 minutes. After that the visit is shortened, or we move it, so the next client isn't kept waiting.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a visit without a word, we keep any deposit and ask you to prepay your next one. If something comes up, a text to the studio is all it takes.

Children and companions

Clients are 16 and older. A client under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who stays for the first visit. We ask that you come on your own otherwise, because the rooms are small and the work needs you still.

Patch tests and allergies

Tint, lamination, lash lifts and lash sets start with a patch test, booked ahead. It shows how your skin responds to the product. It helps, but it can't predict every reaction, so tell us about allergies, sensitive skin and any past reaction to tape, dye or adhesive. If you notice burning, swelling, a rash or blurred vision, tell us and call your doctor or go to urgent care.

Redos and refunds

If something isn't right, tell us within a week. We look at it with you and say what we can do. Services aren't refunded, but a concern always gets a conversation first.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay at the end of your visit, and you can tip the artist you booked by name.

Before your visit

Arrive five minutes early for a first visit, with clean, dry skin and no lotion, oil or makeup on the area. For a wax, hair about a quarter inch long works well. For lashes, come with no eye makeup, and take contact lenses out.

When to ask your doctor first

Check with your doctor before booking a wax if you're pregnant, take a prescription retinoid by mouth or on the skin, have a condition that slows healing such as diabetes, or have had a recent peel or skin procedure. Check first before a tint or lash service if you have an eye condition or a recent eye procedure. We may ask you to wait and rebook.

Two more things to know

  • Wax and brows book together

Pick both on the booking page, or book with the person you like and they will plan the time.

  • Another artist's lashes

Another artist's extensions come off before a new set, and we can't fill them. Allow time for removal.

Read the rules, then pick a time.

If anything here doesn't work for you, ask before you book.
