Skip scrubs, peels and acids on the area. Let the hair reach about a quarter inch.

  3. 03
    Before you arrive

    Step 3: The day of

Come with clean, dry skin and no lotion, oil or makeup on the area. Avoid a hot shower right before.

  4. 04
    At the visit

    Step 4: In the room

We check your skin, ask what's changed and test the wax on a small spot. You can stop any time.

  5. 05
    First 24 hours

    Step 5: Right after

Skip heat, friction and anything scented on the area for the first 24 hours.

  6. 06

Step 6: The next two days

Questions

Before you book

How long should my hair be for a wax?

About a quarter inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. Shorter is harder to catch, and longer gets trimmed first.

What if my skin is sensitive?

Tell us when you book. We check your skin at every visit, test the wax on a small spot and tell you if the day isn't right.

Do I need a patch test?

For a tint, brow lamination, a lash lift or a lash set, yes. It helps, but it can't predict every reaction.

Can I book wax and brows together?

Yes. Many clients do. Pick both on the booking page, or book with the person you like and they will plan the time.

What if I'm pregnant?

Tell us. Skin can be more sensitive, so ask your doctor before booking a wax, and we will follow what they say.

Can I walk in?

No. Every visit is booked, so the room is ready and you are not kept waiting.
